We have developed a system for detection and measuring the wear on drilling equipment. Specifically Poly Crystalline Compact (PDC) drill bits. Drill Bits are a critical piece of equipment where premature failure can lead to significant increase in costs.
A major component in better selection and product development is accurately measuring dull condition of the bit and aggregating that information to make informed decision.
The system is designed to automate the process of measuring the wear and also present the data in simple actionable way with an analytics dash board.
